While completing his DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) degree at Life University’s College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA, USA, Nolte Coetzee was introduced to his first yoga class.

  • HOT - Dit is presies wat dit sê. Dis lekker warm. The heat really helps to get you into the poses, and the instructor guides you through each pose in detail. Each pose is practiced separately and we pay special attention to alignment. If you love an all-over deep stretch and a great sweat, this class is for you.   • FORREST - Forrest Yoga teaches you to become proficient at safely tailoring each pose to work best for you, particularly with physical and emotional injuries. By learning to work honestly at your edges, you develop effective tools to deal with fear and struggle. This makes it possible for integrity, self-awareness and playful curiosity to become part of your daily life. It is a gently heated & healing practice built on breath, strength, integrity and spirit.


Jy gaan sweet. As jy nie sweet nie het ons nie ons werk gedoen nie. You are going to work and stretch every muscle in your body and calm your mind and nervous system by concentrating on the poses and your breath.


  1. One yoga mat.
  2. Two towels. One to cover your yoga mat and one to shower afterwards if preferred.
  3. Water

After you check in, you’ll set your mat up in the room and like in any studio, there are a few simple rules to follow:

  1. Slip your shoes off before you go into the room. We practice barefoot.
  2. Set up quietly so you do not disturb others. Many people arrive early so that they can enjoy ten or fifteen minutes of quiet before the class, and you are welcome to do the same if preferred.
  3. Please make sure that you only bring your own mat, towel, and water into the room with you. NO CELLPHONES please.
